Hi, I use Quickbooks 2016 for Mac, version V17.2.30 R31
I have open a trial balance report.
Within the trial balance report I have open one of the account so I can see the details.
Every time I close the detail account it closes the trial balance too.
I do not want to close the trial balance.
The old version do not do this. Your trial balance continue open.
Do someone know what's going on here?

Hi @Leo Werleman,
Thank you for being a valued customer for 20 years. I'm here to address your concern about the Trial Balance Report window closing up when exiting the account details window.
I replicated this on my end and verified that when closing the account details window, the Trial Balance Report stays on the screen. Let's try uninstalling and reinstalling the program to fix this issue.
Uninstall QuickBooks for Mac:
1. Close QuickBooks.
2. From the Finer menu or search bar, select Go, then Applications.
3. Click the QuickBooks icon and drag/move it to the Trash.
Reinstall the latest version of QuickBooks for Mac 2016:
1. Go to QuickBooks Product Updates.
2. Select your QuickBooks Desktop version.
3. Select the Download button to download the installer file.
4. Double-click the downloaded file and drag the QuickBooks Desktop icon to install.
Once done, log in to QuickBooks and open the Trial Balance Report. Then, open the account detail and close it back. If the same problem persists, I’d suggest getting in touch with Technical Support for further assistance.
Here’s how to contact support:
1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
2. Choose your QuickBooks Product.
3. Select your QuickBooks version.
4. On the Contact Us page, click a topic.
5. Click on the Get Phone Number button to see the support number.
Let me know if there’s anything else you need. I’ll be around to help. Wishing you the best!

Hi KhimG,
Thank you for your message.
I saw the problem this morning.
I didn't see when opening a detail account in the trial balance that it open a new tab.
That's why when I was closing the window it closes the trial balance too.
Anyway thanks for the post.

Hi accounts.iff,
If you're using QuickBooks Online, let's make sure that your Adobe Acrobat Reader is updated to the latest version. Then, try printing the transaction again.
