Join nowHello,
My company currently uses Enterprise Solutions 21 and received the notice about service ending on 5/31/24. What are my options? Is there another Enterprise Solutions or will we need to transition to QB Online?
Hello there, @Awood0510.
You're right about QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2021 discontinuation after May 31, 2024. It means that after the date mentioned, you'll no longer have access to live technical support if you run into problems or utilize any additional features inside the program. Also, please be aware that this includes QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, QuickBooks Desktop Payments, and online bank feeds. Discontinued versions won't receive the latest critical security patches and updates. For more details, please see this page: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy.

Log into your CAMPS and find the QB Desktop 2022-2024 licenses there. As long as your subscription is active, you are entitled to a new product code every year.
Otherwise, you can purchase a new license of QB Desktop 2024 to upgrade your version thru selected partners and you will get a perpetual discount on renewals.
@4Gal can you please clarify something for me? I currently have QB Desktop Pro Plus 2021 and it says service is ending 5/31/2024. However, I have a subscription paid through November, with the next billing date 11/14/2024 and my payroll service subscription is next due 09/14/2024.
You mentioned, "Log into your CAMPS and find the QB Desktop 2022-2024 licenses there. As long as your subscription is active, you are entitled to a new product code every year."
Do you mean that from the CAMPS site, I should be able to download QB Desktop Pro Plus 2024 and keep using my current paid-for subscription? Or do I have to purchase the desktop product?
Separately, I have read that we can continue to use our 2021 product without the payroll and online banking features. Can I do that without paying the annual subscription (if I let this 2021 product "run out?").
Thank you!

If you have QB Desktop Plus version, you must pay the renewal fee every year. If your subscription status is Active, you should be able to find license code for QBD 2022-2024 in CAMPS.

You can continue to use QB Desktop 2021 with a non subscription license for good. The problem is your license is a subscription one. You must pay the renewal fee in November to keep it active. Otherwise, you can't run the program again. If you don't need to run any add-ons (e.g QB Payroll, QB Payment), you can switch to QB Desktop with a non subscription license before November.
Thank you for the response. In looking further, I was able to find it in CAMPS -- for the benefit of others, here's how you do that:
1. In CAMPS find your subscription and click Details (far right)
2. The license info appears
3. At the bottom of this window, you'll see: Download -
Download Intuit QuickBooks Plus Annual Subscription Pro version 2024
@4Gal one more question please and sorry to be a bit dense about this.

So this means I need to purchase (purchase, right?) what was called QB Desktop Pro (not Plus). Can that still be purchased? I thought QB no longer sold a desktop version without a subscription and I've read warnings about not trusting the 3rd party sites because they can be misleading. Is there a way to migrate from "Pro Plus" to just "Pro" or suggestions for where to purchase?
Thank you again for all of the help!
