SOS Quickbooks changing authorized users randomly

This is a serious SOS to someone who knows what they are doing. Please do not give me instructions on how to change my primary admin or access camps or anything besides my actual question. For months, MONTHS, I have been removed as an authorized user and it reverted back to former employees, even our QB pro advisor lost access. It took several months to change the primary contact because our owner who knows nothing about this technology lost access to his Verizon Email years ago. Our former admin will not respond to us. Our new primary contact cannot do anything except access merchant services from intuit.com. He cannot log into quickbooks. He cannot do anything. I have done every single thing I can think of Including downloading something along the lines of "automatically reset your account" or something. Nothing works. My QB Pro finally reached an intelligent CSR and their system shows a completely different realm ID, different users than ours. What the heck is going on? I don't have the time to even deal with customer service hour long "prove you're real" questionnaires daily with no luck, neverminx moving to a new software even though every piece of my being has lost all faith in Quickbooks. SOS PLEASE

I understand the impact of any delay in resolving this ongoing user login issues, @Bpackard416.

Your account security is important to us. That being said, any changes made into it especially primary contact change can only be made over the phone or online using Customer Account Management Portal Site (CAMPS). This can't be done without the Primary Admin's approval.

Since the Community space is a public forum, let me route you to the best available support. This way, a specialist can securely look up for your account and help you consolidate your QuickBooks license and authorized users.

You'd want to prepare the following information:

  • License of the QuickBooks products you're using
  • Name of the Primary Admin
  • Billing information
  • email address associated to the account
  • name of authorized users

Once compiled, you can schedule a callback to speak with one of our live representatives. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. On the Have a Question? window that appears, click the Contact Us button at the bottom part of the page.
  4. Provide some insight with this concern in the Tell us more about your question box. Then, hit the Search button.
  5. You'll now be provided a few support options.
  6. Choose Talk to a Specialist to arrange a callback from a support agent.

Let me know how this goes and if you need any assistance. My team and I will be on standby. Enjoy your weekend and take care.

I do appreciate our input, however, up until last week the company owner was our primary contact and admin. We went through the whole process with CAMPS and switched the user over to the person taking over his company. Now out of nowhere, our old administrative bookkeeper who has been gone for well over a year has the primary access, even though it says our current GM (which it should). When my QB Pro advisor called in, he had been removed as a contact, and she had been changed to primary and on top of that, our "realm ID" or "authorization #" is a completely different number (not even the same amount) than the quickbooks representative saw on her end. We are both seeing two different things and the problem is calling in gets us nowhere. This is where it has gotten me. I don't even think I can just delete it and restart it since the owner of the company doesn't even have control anymore.
