Subscribing to Online Payroll Premium

I am using the 30 trial version of QuickBooks Online Essentials which I plan to convert to a paid subscription.  If I also sign up for a 30 day trial version of Online Payroll Premium, will it automatically connect to my Essentials subscription?  I'm trying to get the 3 month's half off savings.

Subscribing to Online Payroll Premium

You can subscribe to QuickBooks Online Payroll within your QuickBooks Online account, rodney4.

This way, rest assured they will be connected/linked. These are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. From the Billing & Subscription tab,  click on the Free 30-day trial under the QuickBooks Self Service Payroll section.
  3. Select Premium and follow the on-screen instructions.

In regards with the discount, you can choose only one, either the 50% off for 3 months or free trial for 30 days. That means, since you selected the free trial, you'll going to pay the whole amount once it's over. You can refer to this site for the pricing.
