The first 30 days was supposed to be a free trial and then monthly charges of five bucks AFTER I try it out but it charged me the fee as soon as I set it up. Why?

Hello there, @mickeymouse468.

It's possible that you'd click the Buy now button instead of the Try it free button. Clicking the Buy now button will bypass the free (30) thirty days trial.

To verify your account, you can contact our customer support team. From there, they can check your account securely and assist you about your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) subscription. Here's how.

In your QBSE:

  1. Go to the (?) Help menu.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a keyword of your concern and click Continue.
  4. Then choose your preferred way to connect with them.

Also, you'll want to visit this article to have an overview of how QBSE work: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview.

Should you need more help in setting up your QBSE, you can always get back to us by leaving a comment below. I'll be around to help.
