Since you no longer have access to your old number to receive the verification code, you can submit an Account Recovery Request to our security team. This process allows us to verify your identity using documents instead of a code.
To process the request, you'll need to provide a high-quality photo or scan of one of the following documents:
- Driver’s license
- State ID
- Passport
- Notarized document
Here's how to submit your request:
- Open the Account Recovery form link.
- In the What do you want to update? field, select Phone number, and fill out the necessary information.

- Scan the QR code to begin your verification process and auto-capture photos of your government-issued ID to continue.
Our team will review your submission. You'll receive an email from no_response@intuit.com within one business day with the next steps to update your account's phone number.
