Good morning, @GT29.

Thanks for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community. How's your day going so far? I hope all is well.

Let's try some basic troubleshooting steps, such as clearing the cache from your browser. Web browsers collect cache to save time when loading repetitive data and images. Over time these files can become outdated and corrupted, causing issues like the one with your user permissions. I'm including the links to all supported browsers that contain the steps to clear the cache below.

Be sure to restart the browser so the changes can take effect. Then, let's go ahead and recheck your user permissions.

That should do the trick. Please keep me updated if you continue having issues with the permissions. I'll keep an eye out for your reply. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Have a good one!

Hello Tori,

Thanks for the quick response.

Cache cleared (Microsoft Edge), no change in behaviour.
1. QB Menu / Chart of Accounts / Select account / select account history
2. Select any Journal Entry
3. Select Edit
4. nothing happens

If I try to search transactions for any journal entry, clicking on the journal entry - nothing happens

I tried using a different browser (same computer) but cannot sign in as I am travelling and cannot receive a text message

Marked down as "system glitch" most likely due to my aging computer, windows 10 or internet lag...
