Verification code from email does not work

Good to see you here, welcome2steven-g.

The verification code has a limited time for you to enter it. It can take up to 15 minutes for the code to be emailed to you, and check your junk email folders too. You can use another option where to send the verification code such as a call or via text message if you have a phone number listed in your Intuit account.

If you have typed the exact code that was sent and it doesn’t work, this is most likely because you have generated multiple codes and are not using the most recent one. Just click Didn’t receive a code, then wait until the new code arrives. This may take several minutes. Use the most recent code sent to you and don't close the window. Closing it will invalidate the code.

You also have the option to turn this setting off so you won't be required to enter any verification codes. I'll show you how:

  1. Log in to camps.intuit.com.
  2. From the left menu, select Sign In & Security.
  3. In the Two-step verification section, select Turn off.
  4. Enter the code, then select Continue.

A browser-related issue can also cause the codes not to be recognized by QuickBooks. We can fix that by performing a few troubleshooting steps.

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account using a private browser. Then, go through the verification process.
  2. If you're able to access your account with the given code, we can go back to the main browser and clear the cache.
  3. Other browsers such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox can also help us get rid of unexpected behavior within QuickBooks.

Keep me posted on how this works. I'll be around the corner to keep an eye on your reply. You take care always and have a great day!
