We have an app that is listed as "This app was connected by another user" for which is a prior bookkeeping company. We need to remove the app. We deleted their access.

We do not want to add back their access, we just want to remove their app from our account. Can we have QBO Support remove this from our account for us?

The master admin has easy access to remove the app, @Netology.

 

If you're the master admin of the QuickBooks Online account, it will allow you to remove or disconnect an application from your firm and stop the app's functionality. Please refer to these detailed steps:

 

  1. Go to Apps and select Firm Apps.
  2. Select the Action ▼ drop-down arrow, then choose Disconnect.
  3. Complete the short questionnaire.
  4. Click Disconnect to remove the app from your firm.

 

On the other hand, yes, our QuickBooks Online Support can access an account to remove the third-party application when you request. You can contact them through callback or chat.

This did not work for me, I spent 20 minutes with support and they were helpful, but were not able to remove the app.  More details to this issue online would have been helpful so I wouldn't have wasted my time.
