What issues should Mac users expect when migrating from Mac desktop to online?

I seem to be having a  lot of issues post-migration and not much appropriate support. Are other Mac users experiencing this?

I want to ensure your migration process is seamless, urban.

Beforehand, may I know the issue you've encountered after moving your Mac data? Adding additional details will help you provide accurate steps to resolve this. A screenshot would be a great help, too.

For more details about moving your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac file to QuickBooks Online, please see this article: Migrating QuickBooks Data.

I also recommend checking out this article to help you understand how your books were moved: Learn how Features and Data Move from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.

We look forward to hearing from you soon to help you fix this.

What kind of issues?

Which QB Desktop year version do you have?

What issues should Mac users expect when migrating from Mac desktop to online?

Numerous migration issues which I’ve had to pay my accountant to fix. She had to reconstruct most accounts from paper statements. It’s been a horrible experience. Very expensive, disruptive, and still not fixed.

What issues can't your accountant fix manually? Another option, consider buying a 3d party service to convert your data. If your accountant doesn't use QB Desktop and QB Online regularly, she has only limited workarounds to fix the conversion.

My accountant is an expert in QB online and QB desktop, although she doesn't use a Mac. She is able to fix everything manually, with time and money. I'm puzzled by the question as it indicates that I should have expected to have to fix everything manually post migration, but I was not prepared for that scenario at all. Nothing in my advance reading and working with my accountant (who, by the way, conducted the migration) prepared me for that. I am working with at least two people in my accounting firm on this problem and they say they've never seen anything like this.
