When exporting a file to excel, I am unable to sort any number column. How is this done?

To sort any number column you've exported from QuickBooks into Excel, you'll first need to click on the Enable Editing button in Excel, Max. I'll walk you through to get this done smoothly.

After exporting your files, be sure to enable the Editing option in your Excel form to make edits or add data. This allows you to easily adjust the content, format, and structure of your spreadsheets, ensuring your data is accurate, clear, and effective. Here's how:

  1. Open your Excel file.
  2. Click on Enable Editing at the top of your Excel window.

Once you've enabled editing, you'll be able to freely edit your data in Excel. Remember, the Community is always here to support you with any concerns. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have more questions—I'm happy to assist you further!
