When I export my A/R report to Excel all values are $0?

Hello there, @MrsPizer.

I'm here to provide some insights about exporting your A/R reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, there are two options to view your report. These are the modern and the classic view. If you're using the Modern view, consider switching to the Classic view to ensure stability when exporting the report. Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports, then enter the AR report in the Find report by name search bar.
  2. Click the report to view it.
  3. Hit the Switch to classic view button to use the prior report interface.

Moreover, I'm adding this helpful article as your reference in memorizing reports in QBO: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Return to this post if you have other concerns about exporting your report in QBO. I'll be here to lend a hand. Have a good one!

The only option in the report settings gear is Compact or not.

Thank you for providing your updates, MrsPizer. I appreciate what you've done so far.

I'd suggest performing some basic troubleshooting steps to ensure successful report printing.

Sometimes, QuickBooks may not function correctly due to browser issues. We can solve this by accessing your QBO account using a private browser. Follow these steps:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If this resolves the issue, return to your regular browser and clear your browsing history to start fresh. If not, you can use a different supported browser.

However, if the issue persists, you can contact our online support team to schedule a callback or start a chat. You can check our support hours as well.

In addition, you can check on this article to learn how to get the most out of your financial reports: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online

Feel free to leave a comment if you still have issues printing your report. I'm always here to help.

Thanks for your quick reply.  Unfortunately, I always use QBO in a private browser window.  I have cleared the cache and cookies and restarted my browser with the same result - all $0 values in the exported file and no option to change to a classic view in the report in QBO.  Ugh.  I will have to call customer support during business hours.
