The Receive Payment feature in QuickBooks Online is accessible through the + New or Create button, depending on the interface you are using, Teris.
If you’re using the old QuickBooks Online (QBO) interface, you’ll find the Receive Payment option under the + New icon. In the new layout version, this option is under the Create menu icon. I’ve included screenshots below showing the exact location for each version.
Additionally, you can still access the Receive Payment option directly from an invoice, just as you always have. This provides a quick way to record payments linked to specific invoices.
You can also use the Search bar at the top of your QBO dashboard for quicker and more convenient navigation.
If you don’t see the Receive Payment option on your end, I recommend clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. Sometimes, outdated or corrupted browser data can cause issues in QuickBooks Online, including missing buttons. Using a supported and updated browser can also enhance performance and security when working in QBO.
