Why charge for free subscription? My support ticket was confirmed. I’m owed a $53.90 credit. Why is this happening and recurring?

Does customer support ever call or try to resolve their billing errors?

Allow me to share details and answer your billing-related questions, sharonbyrnesyoga.

There's no charge if you're on a free trial as long as the Try it free for 30 days option is selected. This way, it will not ask for a payment information when creating a free subscription account.

Please know that subscription charges will begin on your next billing date, specifically after 30 days since you created the account.

You mentioned that you already have a support ticket for a refund. I recommend to our support teams via chat or phone to follow-up on this and help with other subscription-related inquiries. They can ask for your account details and review your billing history as well.

Here's how to reach out to them:

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner of your QBO account.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human" in the chat box, then press Enter.
  3. Select Get help from a human.
  4. Click Chat with us or Have us call you

Adding these articles as well to give you more references and guidance about managing QBO subscriptions:

Hi sharonbyrnesyoga,

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about your free trial account and refund request. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
