Why does Quickbooks can't import as simple as bulk sales receipts from excel? Even other mediocre apps can do that.

Just wanted to import my sales receipts from excel to Quickbooks. Why can't we do as simple as that? We can import invoices but not Sales receipts.

I appreciate for sharing this topic in this forum, Chris.

I understand the benefit of having the option to import sales receipts in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Thus, I also encourage you to send feedback on this option. This way, they can get notified of the features that business owners need. Also, the more requests it gets, the higher they will add it to future enhancements.

Here's how you can submit them:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter a brief description of your product suggestion.
  4. Click Next to submit feedback.

We regularly take your suggestions into account while updating our products. In this, you can track the progress of your feature request in our Feedback forum.

In the meantime, I suggest utilizing a third-party application to integrate with QuickBooks and enable you to upload your prepared sales receipts transaction to QBO. You can go to this link and type in any keyword to find the most suitable app: QuickBooks Apps Store.

Let me know if there's anything else that I can help you with about importing transactions. I'll be around to assist your further. Have a good one!

@Chris_Sondrita

As I know, other accounting apps that are in the same class as QBO also don't offer this feature. You still need to use an importer tool to do so.
