I can share some information about running the Estimates vs Actuals report.
The Estimates vs Actuals report lets you see your estimated vs. actual profitability for the specific project. This report is only available in QuickBooks Online Advanced. Here are the reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription.
You may consider upgrading to QuickBooks Online Advanced to get this report or check other reports that are available in QuickBooks Online Plus.
Here's how to upgrade your subscription:
Refer to this article for more information about choosing a new plan: Upgrade or downgrade your QuickBooks Online edition.
In the meantime, you may choose to run another report like the Estimates by Customer that tells you more about your estimates, grouped by customer. Shows whether they're accepted and invoiced. Here's detailed guidance on how to run reports in QuickBooks Online.
From here, you can now apply multiple filters to your report to add all the information that you need: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Thanks MJoy_D. We find this quite strange, as the Online Plus version contains the Estimates feature as well as the Projects feature so why won't it contains this report as well? We're paying for both these features.
Is there another way we can see Estimates vs. Actuals using Plus version?
A custom report or another method?
Thanks
I appreciate you for getting back to us,
As of now, we're unable to run an estimate vs actuals report in the QuickBooks Online Plus version. That said, I'd suggest sending Feedback to our developer's team.
Here's how to send one:
For now, you may pull up the Estimates by Customer report that tells more about your estimates. Here's how:

Keep me posted whenever you have concerns in running reports.
Thank you Adrian, personally I have 20+ years in project management (PM), mainly in the IT area. The main concept in all PM methodologies is that you plan you project, track the actual and make business decisions according to plan vs. actual.
This is what we need also in QB online "Projects" feature, the estimates is our plan and we must have a tool/report that will allow us to view the Estimates vs. Actuals in order to manage the project. Without such tool/report it will be extremally hard/impossible to manage a project.
Per your suggestion we've the "Estimate by Customer" report, however this report displays only Estimates data without any actuals and therefore cannot be used track any differences between Estimates and Actuals.
As suggested, we'll provide this feedback also to your developer team. We'll highly appreciate if you can also advise them of this issue. We don't see how a project can be efficiently managed without access to an Estimates vs. Actuals report.
Thanks
