Why isn't it possible to organize projects by DATE? It seems simple enough to add a "DATE" column in the Projects window, yet upon checking the Settings, it's not there.

Hi USER3000 , thank you have posted in quickbooks community.

Yes, there are no fields for the start date and end date of the project. Alternatively, we can use the Notes field to add them to the project. Let me walk you through the other way of adding the dates:

  1. Go to Project on the left panel.
  2. Click the New project at the upper-right corner if you haven't created yet. Otherwise, we'll only need to edit it by clicking Options under the Action column. Then, select Edit this project.
  3. Enter the start date and end date in the Notes field.
  4. Then, Save.
  5. We can then view the dates we've entered any time by opening the project. Once opened, click the View option above to see the dates.

Glad to assist you.
