Payroll Notifications: Company Name is Incorrect

Hello,

I am seeking assistance in making a correction in our QB Online program. We have payroll for our contractors; however as of late, the payroll notification emails reflect a separate entity that we also track expenses/revenue for but is not used for payroll.

I have checked all of the areas that are used for company payroll information and setup and do not see where this incorrect is pulling from. I would love it if someone can assist in understanding how to fix this as it's reflecting on the actual payouts in the direct deposit.

Payroll Notifications: Company Name is Incorrect

I appreciate you for detailing your concern and checking everything necessary for the error, Nichelle. Let's ensure you can get the best support to resolve your issues with email notifications.

I’ll connect you with our payroll Live support team for a screen share to diagnose why payroll emails and direct deposits show the wrong entity and ensure the issue is resolved effectively.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online, then click the Help (?) icon.
  2. Choose either tab to get started: Assistant or Talk to human.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Click Start a chat with a support expert or Get a callback from next available expert.

I'd also recommend checking the support hours to know the best time to contact them at your convenience.

Additionally, you can run payroll reports  to view useful information about your business and employees.

Rest assured, we’re here to ensure everything reflects the correct company information seamlessly. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out anytime.
