I have used quickbooks online for over a decade as Fenix Automotive and now for 7 months as a new company called Fenix Automotive Design. We have processed million of dollars thru quickbooks and paid hundreds of thousands in fees. I processed a roughly 10k ACH on July 11th and it got delayed. Customer has even verified money has come out of their account days ago. We have made VERY sure that we have next day funding set up and it's always worked until now out of the blue. Ive processed amounts greater than this no issue, alway next day funded. Now this gets put on hold and the customer service is completely lost, can't tell me why, says they have no control over anything and nothing can be done. Quickbooks rep named "Mica" and case 15120927419. She wouldn't tell me her employee id or any way to reference the call when I asked and began to laugh at me. Im pretty understanding as a business owner for decades and know how banks and clearing houses for checks work. I was told after speaking to someone about this last week that I will have no more delays after this one. Today I processed another check - immediately got put on delay again. Called in again and "Mica" did nothing. Wouldn't even pass me along to the merchant services team. Finally got the number and called them myself. The lady I spoke to there was nice and helpful but ultimately said "nobody can see any reason why, you'll just have to wait".
This is unacceptable for a company I pay 600 bucks a month to in subscription fees to and so far this year alone have spent over 25k just on processing fees. Ive been on the fence about switching services to oracle or something else and this may be the push needed because I can't comprehend how nobody is capable of doing or figuring anything out. Can someone at quickbooks figure this out please!!! I need my ACH to be next day funding just as it's been for a decade. After spending literally hundreds of thousands of dollars with your company, this level of service and lack of support is absolutely inexcusable.
I appreciate you for your continued trust and use of QuickBooks over the years, @fitzg2md.
I can see how critical timely transactions are for your business operations, especially given your long-term relationship with QuickBooks and the significant transactions you’ve processed over the years. I can help by providing further clarification as to why your customer payment is placed on hold.
You're correct. If your account is already set up for next-day deposit, most ACH payments are processed the next day. Moreover, if customer payments are processed before 3 PM PT, they will be deposited in your bank account the next business day, and if you process payments after 3 PM PT, they will be deposited in two business days. While this is the case, there are times when funds are placed on hold if there's pending information in a merchant's account, transactions, or customers that needs to be clarified.
I understand that you've already contacted our Payments Support Team. However, since only they can provide further clarification about why the customer payment at issue is placed on hold and help you further on tracking the funds, I'd still encourage getting in touch with them.

The same thing is happening on our account. They will delay an ACH on Monday until the following Monday. We were getting next day deposits up until last month. I have called customer service and they say that it is an algorithm and they have no control. It is unacceptable that you can’t speak to anyone that can remedy the situation.
Thank you for joining to this thread, @Floridapam.
It seems that you also posted the same concerns earlier. My colleague already replied and shared her insights about payment deposit. You can check her response by accessing to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/payments/delayed-payments/01/1471453#M58022.

I was told by QuickBooks support that ALL ACH that we run and initiate on our end (which is all we do) will have a 5 day hold even though we’ve had next day funding setup for years without a single chargeback or concern. I was also told that QuickBooks has changed their policy and that all customers are now getting 5 day holds on all ACH. Is this true?? I’d like to use ACH but we quite literally stopped the second I heard that and required paper checks I can take to my bank. I’ve been keeping track and based on the 1%you’re charging to process an ACH, QuickBooks has missed out on 4700.00 of fees I would have gladly paid as long as things cleared how they always have. And we won’t be going back until someone can assure me of next day ACH funding. The handling of that situation by QuickBooks was unacceptable. And apparently they arent
concerned with lost revenue either.
I can see how your situation with on-hold ACH payment has presented some challenges, @fitzg2md. Let me clear things up about when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
We'll only deposit ACH payments within five business days if you're new to QuickBooks Payments and you've processed customer payments for the first time. Subsequent deposits are usually processed faster. Given your long history with Merchant Services, you can expect next-day deposits if you submit them before 3 PM PT. Payments submitted after that time will generally be processed within two business days.
