After importing desktop data to online, the transaction count is different. What is the best way to determine the difference?

The import summary created for the import includes one less online account, 6 more vendors, and 9 fewer transactions.   Profit and Loss and Balance sheet numbers match.   How can I best determine the difference?

You can run the Trial Balance Report on QB Desktop and QB Online to compare.

I’d be glad to provide insights about the available features when migrating from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Once you’ve moved your data to QuickBooks Online, you’ll need to review your data to make sure it moved correctly. QBO and QBDT are two different kinds of products that have unique features.

 

When you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, your books may look slightly different. For menu options, features, lists, items, transaction types, reports and labels, QuickBooks Desktop does not use the same terminology as QuickBooks Online.
