Amazon Business Integration

I have connected my amazon business account. It connects fine and imports my transactions, and will work for a little while but after a couple days it stops importing my purchases. It shows it is still connected, I just don't see my purchases in QBO.

I'm here to help you update your Amazon bank connection issue, @lcrowe1.

Let's begin with basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue if this is a browser problem. You can try using a private browser to help fix this problem.

Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Internet Explorer/Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Ctrl + Shift + N

If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the page and eliminate any glitch from occurring in the system.

Additionally, here's a link that can give more details about connecting an Amazon Business account to QuickBooks Online: Business account to QuickBooks Online.

Also, I am adding an article for future reference in categorizing transactions in QuickBooks Online: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about using the Amazon Business account. I'm always here to help. have a great day.

Amazon Business Integration

Hello. Opening in a private browser did not work, nor did clearing the cache. I have read the articles on the integration. Everything seems to be set up properly and seems to be working at first, but after a few days it stops pulling in the new transactions. If I disconnect and reconnect it loads the past transactions in, but again stops pulling them automatically after a day or two.

Thanks for the immediate response, @lcrowe1.

I can see the urgency of getting your account integration error resolved. Let me help route you to the best support who can investigate this matter and provide the appropriate fix so you can manage your transactions accordingly.

Since your integration error continues, even after performing the steps above, I encourage you to reach out to our Customer Care team. They can create a case to further investigate your banking concerns and guide you with a fix. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select the Search tab.
  4. Click the Contact Us button.
  5. Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Choose a way to connect with us (Send a message Chat or Get a callback Callback).

Once your transactions are downloaded, you'll have to review and categorize them to keep your financial data accurate.

Also, I encourage you to reconcile your accounts in QBO regularly (every month). This helps monitor your income and expense transactions and detect possible errors accordingly. You may want to check out this article as your reference to guide you in doing and fixing reconciliations in QBO: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks.

I'm all ears if you have other banking concerns or questions about managing transactions in QBO. You can drop a comment below, and I'll gladly help. Take care always, @lcrowe1.

Amazon Business Integration

I had the same issue with my Amazon Business account. It connected fine at first and started importing purchases, but after a few days it just stopped, even though it said it was still connected. I never figured out why it broke, and it became really frustrating having to check and fix it all the time.

I ended up switching to Synder, and it’s been working much better. Synder connects to Amazon Business and brings in all your purchases reliably. I don’t have to worry about things stopping or missing transactions. It also syncs everything into QuickBooks automatically and categorizes the data correctly.

What I like is that Synder also works with other platforms like Amazon Seller, Etsy, eBay, and Shopify, so if you use any of those, you can keep everything in one place.

If you're tired of the connection dropping or missing purchases, I’d really recommend trying out Synder. It’s saved me a lot of time and stress.
