This morning, I see the following message:
"Your American Express Business Credit Card and Checking (US) account stopped syncing to QuickBooks Online.
To sync your accounts again, you'll need to reconnect. (350)"
I follow the instructions and reauthorize, and Amex claims that it is successfully connected. But then QBO refreshes and complains with the same message.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I understand the inconvenience this has caused you, @menotti. Let me help you fix the error you are experiencing with your Amex credit card and checking account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
QuickBooks automatically downloads your recent transactions after you connect your bank and credit card accounts to online banking.
However, sometimes the connection to your bank or credit card account expires or gets updated by your bank, resulting in Error 350. This error can occur when some banks require you to reconnect every 90 days, while others only need updates every 18 months.
To keep everything up-to-date and resolve the error, you'll want to refresh the connection to your bank and credit card accounts.
If you have reconnected successfully, you'll see a Connection Complete and transactions updated! prompt. You can then select Close X.
However, if the issue persists, we can take some troubleshooting measures to help fix the issue. This could be an issue related to your browser.
First, let's access your account through your browser's incognito mode. An incognito window will prevent the browser history from being saved. Please refer to the following keyboard shortcuts based on your browser type:
Alternatively, you can clear the browser's cache to eliminate common errors that may hinder the application from working properly. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with a clean slate. You can also use other supported browsers to see if the issue persists.
Once you're connected, and transactions are downloaded, you can then review and categorize them to keep your financial data accurate.
It's important to regularly reconcile your accounts in QBO (once a month is recommended). This will help you keep track of your income and expenses and catch any mistakes that may have occurred.
