Hi there, idf.
There could be various reasons why your bank isn't syncing to online banking in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Before anything else, can you provide me with the specific bank error code or message if there's one? This is to see if we have similar reported issues on our system.
Moreover, if you're having issues finding or linking your bank account may be because of the following reasons:
To link your bank account to QBO, check if it's a participating financial institution by searching for its website URL on the Connect an account page. Follow the steps to connect to the right account:
Furthermore, you can start categorizing your transactions to add them to the correct category and reconcile them to avoid discrepancies. With that, I’ll leave you with these resources for complete guidelines:

Let me be clear. This is an issue that was identified as a problem today. I have previously synced my Quickbooks platform to Bank of America, both my business checking as well as my business credit card.
This same problem occurred about one month ago, and it took three weeks for QuickBooks to resolve the issue.
Multiple calls to customer service were unhelpful. There was no communication about when the problem would be resolved. I was not allowed to talk to tech support. I was promised a call from a supervisor regarding this issue, and that did not take place either. If your company keeps records of communications with clients, you should be able to review my interactions with your company.

Hi, Cory. I appreciate you for adding clarification to your concern.
You can consider signing in to your bank's website and checking for any messages, notifications, or alerts, as this can prevent QuickBooks Online (QBO) from syncing correctly with your bank. I can provide the initial step for troubleshooting the problem.
We can sign in to your bank's website to check if your bank has scheduled maintenance that can prevent the software from pulling up transactions correctly. Here's how:
If you updated your bank info recently, you can follow step three of this article on updating your bank info within QBO: Bank errors and missing transactions in QuickBooks Online.
May I kindly inquire if you encountered any specific error about syncing Bank of America (BoA) and QBO? This is for us to check if there are any recent investigations our Product Engineers are working to resolve.
Let me also add these articles as guides in categorizing and matching transactions in QBO, as future reference:
Keep us posted about the syncing problem you encountered with BoA and QBO. We're committed to offering ongoing support.
None of the suggestions were helpful. The problem is now resolved. I have no idea what caused the problem, and I did literally nothing to resolve it. I suspect the IT department of QuickBooks fixed it. Again, no communication from them or QuickBooks about what the problem was and if it will recur. Given the background of many of QuickBooks customers, I suspect there are many suggestions could be made regarding improving customer service if we were given the opportunity for our input.
I have been having this problem as well. Truly hate Intuit. Useless engineers, useless support. Surprised we haven't been asked to reboot or update drivers.
Allow me to share some insights about synching your bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @chickenlloyd.
Since you encountered the same issue with syncing your bank, I highly recommend to follow the troubleshooting steps shared by my colleague,
AlverMarkT.
If you can provide additional information such as an error message, that's much appreciated. This way, we can also investigate if there's the same reported issue.
If the issue persists after following the troubleshooting mentioned above, I suggest contacting our support team.
Here's how:
You can start categorizing your transactions to ensure they are correctly categorized and reconciled to avoid discrepancies:
I'll be around for additional questions about managing your banking in QBO. Stay safe!
You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

I’ve been dealing with the same issue recently. After speaking with three different tech support/customer service representatives and spending over two hours with them, there is still no resolution. Ultimately, they told me the case would be escalated for further investigation. The bottom line is that their tech support was unable to help me.
