Buy nowHello,
Apologies if this was covered elsewhere; I could not find an answered thread.
When I added our Chase credit cards to Quickbooks Online I chose to have Quickbooks pull new credit cards as they are added but they are not adding after the new cards are added to our Chase account, activated, and used. What can I do to fix this outside of deleting the entire connection and adding it again?
Thanks!

It can be quite inconvenient when newly connected credit cards are not added to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let's work together to fix your online banking concern.
When connecting a bank or credit card account, it's important to know first how your Financial Institution (FI) sends the downloaded transactions. If the entries download to one account, only connect the parent account.
If the transactions are downloaded to individual accounts, connect the subaccounts rather than the main one. Please know you're unable to sync both a parent account and its subaccounts. If you'll link both, you'll get a message that the account is already connected.
This reference provides in-depth information about the process: About bank or credit card subaccount setup.
Also, there are a few reasons you're unable to link an account to the bank feeds:
To rectify the issue, contact your FI to inquire about any maintenance updates or request to establish a connection with QBO. If everything is good from Chase's side, select the correct credit card name when linking the account.
Here's how:

Once the entries are downloaded in your company, classify them into the correct category type for a seamless reconciliation process.
Additionally, utilize bank rules to speed up the review process. Here's an article that outlines the complete steps: Set up bank rules to categorize online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Thanks for the info there. I guess what I'm wondering is - since I added the account (it's a Chase card) and selected the option to auto-add new accounts as they are added. I can see all of the Chase cards that were present the day I set up the connection but none of the new accounts are being added automatically as chosen during the setup of the connection to Chase.

If you manually add your bank to the chart of accounts, select the Connect account option to ensure it's linked to your online banking. You'll know your bank is connected once you see an arrow sign.
However, if you have tried all the options and still your bank doesn’t appear, request support from your bank.
