Same here. I just love it when this happens for multiple accounts.
Hello meliisa41 and TH76,
Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community! Could you verify what error you are getting and what happens when you try to manually import those WF transactions? I am seeing a few ongoing investigations, but I would like to know which one is associated with your current issue.
I am looking forward to seeing your responses! Thank you in advance!
It gave an error code 309 when trying to update the bank transactions. WF has said that their site path is now different from the Wells Fargo CEO portal previously. We used to be able to put the bank url in there but that is gone. The only two choices in trying to reconnect are Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Vantage and neither of those is working. I cleared the browsing data, tried a different browser and tried an incognito browser and it is still not working.
Hello there, @TH76.
I understand the importance of updating your Wells Fargo bank transactions in your QBO account. I'm here to guide you in getting the best help available.
I recommend verifying directly with Wells Fargo for the exact platform you should use. Sometimes, financial institutions have specialized URLs or specific platforms for certain types of accounts. You can contact their support and ask if their integration with QuickBooks is stable. Ensure that there are no pending alerts or actions required on your Wells Fargo online account that might impact the connection with QuickBooks.
If everything is good on your bank's side and you're still experiencing the same issue, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online live support to investigate this case further.
Additionally, here are some articles that can help you troubleshoot banking concerns in QuickBooks Online:
We truly appreciate your patience while we work on resolving this issue. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. We're here to help!
Same here and the Wells Fargo Vantage option takes me to the wrong login screen for Wells Fargo. I need the CEO login screen.
Hello, @kristinhasty.
I’m here to ensure you get the assistance needed for your bank connectivity.
Please make sure that the link you are using to login is accurate. You can go to Wells Fargo's official website and manually copy the URL of the CEO login page. Then, paste it in the program. Alternatively, you can consider connecting your account using an incognito or other supported browsers.
Kindly refer to the keyboard shortcut keys below to proceed:
However, if it still routes you to a different login screen, I recommend to reach out to our customer support team so that they can investigate the issue further. To contact support, here's how:
Additionally, I have attached an article that will guide you through the process of reconciling your bank and credit card statements in QBO: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
If you have any other concerns related to bank connectivity or require assistance with anything else, please feel free to reach out. Your satisfaction and peace of mind is our priorities. Take care and stay safe!
No options work to connect. Wells Fargo Vantage is the correct choice but your link brings you to the wrong Wells Fargo login. I was given an ETA of next friday for an update. This is not acceptable.
I swear this happens annually around this time!
It's very inconvenient and should work for what we are paying.
I agree, one week for it to be fixed is not acceptable.
I tried entering the Wells Fargo CEO URL and it's not recognized so it doesn't go anywhere. Please provide the correct link if that's the issue.
I can see the inconvenience this has caused you, Kristin. Let me connect you directly to the appropriate team that can help you resolve your banking issues in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If you've already tried entering the Wells Fargo CEO URL from the bank's provided link, then that confirms the accuracy of the URL you entered.
Moreover, please know that the issue you've been experiencing with Wells Fargo is linked to the cases that we're currently investigating. Please be assured that our engineering team is actively working to resolve this issue, and we anticipate providing you with an update soon.
While we do not have a specific resolution date, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support team and requesting to be added to the list of affected users. This way, you’ll receive timely updates directly on the issue via email.
Here's how to reach a live representative:
In the meantime, you can manually upload the bank transactions to your account. Make sure to review the file format and size to import them successfully.
Once the connection is established, you'll want to exclude the bank transaction that appears to be the same to avoid duplicates.
If you have further questions about managing transactions in QBO, please don't hesitate to reach out. We, in the Community, are always available to help.
Now again today it is not pointing to the correct site. It's pointing to personal rather than corporate. Wells Fargo says QBO needs to take care of its script errors. Sometimes I wonder if the customer service responses here are coming from a bot.
Same. This is unacceptable
Same. It needs to point to the CEO URL. Not the personal. My business can't integrate with QBO anymore. We can't be entering all of these transactions manually
Exactly. This is exactly what's happening. Extremely frustrating
