Join nowI reconciled my QB Online bank account as of 1/31/19, and it worked to the penny. I printed the reconciliation report out, and it shows my register balance as of that date being 13,790.77.
I then noticed that my register balance looked too high when I went back to the register screen. It shows the balance as of 1/31/19 being 19,393.86. This $5,603.08 difference is consistent each quarter end going all the way back to 12/31/17. The balance sheet report shows the correct balance that I reconciled to, but the register reads $5,603.08 higher.
I am totally stumped.

There are several factors may cause the balances to vary why the bank register balance in QBO doesn't match your actual bank balance. You'll need to verify why they don't match, and adjust or fix them accordingly.
Balances may not match for the following reasons:
You may need to add or match downloaded transactions to make your QuickBooks Online bank register balance match your actual bank balance.

the error fixed itself, but to let you know, it had nothing to do with the article. I am talking about the register balance not agreeing to the balance sheet balance as of the same date.
