Bank Registers in Quick Books

Good work exporting your bank register for each financial institution linked to QuickBooks, Joe2030. There's a way to get the data you need with all the required fields, and I'll share the details below.

You can customize the bank register to show class, property, reconciliation status, etc. Follow the steps below to export them:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu on the left panel.
  2. Select the Bank Transactions tab and choose the bank account.
  3. Click the Funnel icon and set the reconciliation status, transaction type, payee, and date.
  4. Tap Apply.
  5. Press the small Gear icon in the right corner.
  6. Tick the checkboxes for Class, Property, and Reconcile Status.

Once done, the bank register will display the columns we've added or applied. If everything's set, you can hit the Export to Excel icon.

However, if you're referring to incorporating all the bank registers from different financial institutions, the ability to do so is currently unavailable. I recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development Team. We're interested in your ideas to provide convenience with our processes.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
  3. Share your recommendation with the product, then click Next.

In the meantime, consider combining all that information into an Excel file for easier storage.

@JamaicaA  This entire thing reads like two responses blended into one, neither of which really address what the OP is asking about.
