Bank transaction download reversal?

My business has only one bank account. The link connection disappeared so I needed to reconnect the account for downloading transactions. When I did this other bank accounts (at BofA) also downloaded into my QBO. How do I delete these downloads of personal account not appropriate for my business?

Bank transaction download reversal?

Let me help you remove the downloaded bank transactions from the other bank account, EmberM61.

We can exclude the transactions downloaded from your Bank of America account. When excluding a transaction, it doesn’t appear in any account registers or financial reports. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu, then choose the Banking tab.
  2. Scroll down to select the For Review tab.
  3. Tap the check boxes of the transactions to exclude.
  4. Click the Batch actions drop-down button, then choose the Exclude Selected option.

Once done, the transaction moves to the Excluded tab of the Banking page. Once a downloaded transaction is either accepted or excluded, QuickBooks will stop the bank from bringing the transaction into the bank feed again. Here's an article you can refer to for more details about excluding a bank transaction you downloaded into QuickBooks Online

On the other hand, if you find out you have missing bank online transactions, see this article: What to do if you can’t find downloaded bank transactions. This provides you with troubleshooting steps to resolve this kind of issue, including the process of manually uploading bank transactions.

Feel free to visit our Banking page for more insights about managing your bank feeds and reconciling accounts.

We'd like to know how you get on after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Feel free to reply to this post and I'll get back to you. Have a great weekend.
