Can I delete payroll expenses that never cleared the bank? Some are checks & others are direct deposits all from a previous year. Everything else reconciled already.

Thank you so much! These are payroll entries from 2021, and 2021 has already been reconciled, but these other entries are showing up as an item for future reconciliations. I need them deleted as it appears they are affecting the P&L as well. QB won't let me delete. If you can help, I would really appreciate it. Where do we start?
