I am new to QuickBooks checking. And I do not have the option to deposit checks from my phone at this point. Is there a way to apply for this option?
We appreciate you for coming back here, Nikkak.
I'm glad that the info my colleague provided helps. Let me add insights into how the option to deposit a check from your phone will show.
Mobile check deposit isn't available to all customers. If you're qualified, you'll view the option to Deposit check into Get Money. Moreover, before you deposit a check, it's important that the check meets the requirements and you don't need the funds immediately.

How do I change the amount after I already submitted it? If the amount I put in is different than what's on the check, will it not go through?
It's great to efficiently manage check deposits and conveniently utilize this feature in your mobile app, Jarod. I'm here to provide clarification regarding your concern.
Once you have submitted your mobile check deposit, it means the information has been sent to the bank for processing, which is why you cannot change the amount that has already been submitted.
Moreover, the bank typically looks for a match between the amount you submitted and the amount on the check. If these amounts differ, it may lead to the check being rejected or returned during processing.
We will inform you via email if your check is rejected. You will also receive an email notification when your bank accepts your check and when the funds are successfully deposited into your account.
However, if it still cannot be processed or is returned, you will need to follow up with the check writer or consider cashing or depositing the check at a different bank.
