I'm here to help you with reconciling a bank account in QuickBooks Online.
If you still have transactions from two years ago, you can manually reconcile them.
Here's how:
- Click the Gear icon at the upper right corner.
- Under Your Company, select Chart of Accounts.
- Select the Account Name then View Register/Account History.
- Find the transaction that needs to be unreconciled.
- To highlight click on the transaction.
- Click on the top line of the transaction in the field between the Deposit and Payment amount.
- If the field contains a C it is cleared, and if the field contains an R that means it is reconciled.
- You can continually click in this field to achieve the status desired for this transaction. If it was originally blank, click once and it will display a C, if you click again an R, again back to blank.
- Click Save.
