Chase Credit Card QBO import fails

Hello - When I download a QBO from my chase credit card account and try to import it says "nothing imported. the account is up to date".  Is QB or Chase working on this? I have a deadline and cannot manually enter 1000+ transactions.

Chase Credit Card QBO import fails

Finally got the "financial institution not recognized" error to disappear, now I am having the same issue with the Chase Credit Card OFX files - only picking up 1 in 10 transactions.  I have tried making a very small file of only a few transactions or a whole month - no difference - 1 in 7 to 10 transactions only.

I don't see any fix yet. It is almost the end of February. I try to import a QBO file from Chase now and the entire Quickbooks crashes. This is new for me.

Thanks for joining this thread, @symmarkgroup.

I've checked the investigation status about this issue, and it's already resolved. Let's process troubleshooting steps by repairing your QuickBooks Desktop to remove any data damage and computer issues. Let me walk you through the steps:

  1. Restart your computer to close unnecessary programs interfering with QuickBooks.
  2. Back up your QuickBooks company file.
  3. Select Start and then Control Panel.
  4. Select Programs and Features. If necessary, choose Uninstall a program.
  5. Click QuickBooks in the list of programs and choose Uninstall/Change.
  6. Select Continue, then Next.
  7. Click Repair then Next. Wait for the Repair to complete.
  8. Choose Finish. Restart your computer if prompted.
  9. Don’t forget to download the latest QuickBooks release and the latest payroll tax stable when you open QuickBooks.

During the repair, you may get an error or a message such as Files in use. If you receive these kind of messages, follow these steps:

  1. Click Ignore (reboot required) then click OK.
  2. You might have to click Ignore several times. The repair should continue.
  3. If the Ignore button is unavailable, click Close. After the Repair, restart the computer.

For additional reference, you can check this article on how to fix QuickBooks Desktop (Windows).

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Support Team so they can investigate this further.

Here's how you can contact our technical support:

  1. Follow the Official Intuit Contact link.
  2. Select your QuickBooks product.
  3. Select an issue type from the menu below, you need only to select two options for the contact information to appear.
  4. Click Start a message at the bottom.

Please let me know how it goes. I'm always here to help if you have any other questions. Have a good one.

What happened to emailing everyone who contacted QB Support on this issue when it was resolved?

Chase Credit Card QBO import fails

Hello everyone.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I want this to be taken care of.

For symmarkgroup's concern, you can uninstall and reinstall your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. Doing this will resolve unexpected behavior of the product. The steps are provided by my colleague JanyRose above.

Otherwise, try running the Verify and Rebuild tool in QuickBooks Desktop. This will help us identify the common data issues within your company file.

In case you need help from a live support, I recommend calling our QuickBooks Desktop Mac Support. They'll be able to guide you through the whole process.

Here's how you can contact our phone support:

  1. Click this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Select QuickBooks Mac Desktop.
  3. Type-in Technical Support on the search bar.
  4. And click Get the Phone number below.

Hi, caboyd5101. For now, we can't provide an exact time frame as to when will this investigation be resolved. Since you've already contacted support, please expect an email notification from our backend team for the updates of this current investigation.

As soon as we receive progress, the Community Team will update this thread to let everyone know so you can get back to business.

Keep in touch if you need more help with something else. I'm always here and ready to assist.

Chase Credit Card QBO import fails

This issue appears to have been fixed, on the Chase side.  I have (finally!!!) both successfully synced (QB Online) and uploaded (QB Desktop via QBO) data into Quickbooks recently.  May have to remove and then re-setup Chase feed in QB Online.

LOL

It works now.  Chase has fixed QBO export on their end.  But I found that out on my own.

Chase Credit Card QBO import fails

You have me to help you download your Chase transactions, Katelyn Huffman.

Let's make sure to connect your bank account to QuickBooks Online. This way, your Chase transactions will be automatically imported to your QBO account.

Let me guide you with these steps:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Select the Banking tab.
  3. Select Connect Account on the landing page if this is your first time connecting. Or select Add account or Link account if you've already created one.
  4. Search for your bank.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to successfully connect your account.

Once connected, you can categorize them. Here's an article as your reference: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I'm just a post-away if you need help. Keep safe!
