Connecting your bank accounts to QuickBooks allows you to automatically import transactions. This doesn't only save time, it also helps prevent any data entry errors that can occur with manually entering the records.
If you want to enter older transactions, or if your bank/credit card can't connect with QuickBooks, you can upload transactions manually.
