Constant re-verification of bank information

My bank account information keeps needing to be re-verified through an OTP code within the IOS version of the quick-books app. None of my transactions are being uploaded into my qb app because of this. When I do reverify, it doesn’t stay verified long enough to upload recent transactions. I have to manually input my transactions. Any help would be appreciated.

Constant re-verification of bank information

I appreciate you reaching out here in the Community, Brandon.

One of the reasons you need to verify your bank information is that your bank requires an additional layer of security known as a One-time password (OTP) to ensure that your bank account is connected safely. Once verified, you should be able to receive your latest transactions.

Since you've been constantly asked to verify, I suggest contacting your financial institution to check if there's an ongoing issue on their end.

In the meantime, I suggest clearing your app's cache. This can free up space and improve performance.

Here's how to clear the app's cache on your iPhone:

  1. Tap on the Settings icon and then choose General.
  2. Click on iPhone Storage and choose the QBSE app.
  3. Tap on Offload App to remove the app and its data temporarily, or tap on Delete App to remove the app and all its data permanently.

If you come across an error, you can fix it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the app. Alternatively, you can add your bank account through a supported web browser while logged into your QBSE account.

Once your transactions are added to your QBSE account, you can categorize them to the correct line of your Schedule C.

Let me know if you need more help with banking in QuickBooks. I'm always here to answer them for you. Have a great rest of the day!
