Hello there, ultrapropertyman.

Let's review some of the possible reasons why you're unable to connect your Chase ink visa business credit card in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I've listed them below:

  • Incorrect bank name. It's important to verify the name of the bank from the list as there are some banks that have multiple names.
  • The bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • The bank is not supported in QBO.

All you need to know about connecting bank accounts in QBO can be found in this article: Find your bank account when you connect to online banking.

Once the above-mentioned were verified but still unable to connect to your bank, I recommend reaching out to your financial institution as they may be having system maintenance.

Then, you can go back to QuickBooks and add your bank account.

Here's how:

  1. Select Banking from the left menu.
  2. Click Add Account.
  3. Search your bank or use the correct URL when you log in to your bank's website.
  4. Enter your bank's username and password.
  5. Select the type of account.
  6. Choose how far back you want to download bank transactions.
  7. Click Connect.

You can also read through this article for the detailed steps: Connect and add bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Now, you're ready to match them. Check out this article for the steps: Add and match downloaded banking transactions.

Thank you for clarifying. I'd like to share some steps for QuickBooks Desktop Pro, ultrapropertyman.

As advised, there are some possible reasons why you're unable to connect your Chase ink visa business credit card.

Though, you may need to apply for Direct Connect for this. If that's the case, you can contact your bank if your application requires approval. Please check this article for more details. You can review the information under the Download your transactions with Direct Connect section.

Still, I recommend following the other suggestions shared by my colleague above (checking your bank's website if there's an ongoing issue on the their end).

In the meantime, you can also manually upload your bank data to QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Select Bank Feeds, then Import Web Connect Files from the Banking menu.
  2. Choose Open, then pick the QBO file you saved.
  3. When prompted to choose a bank account, select:
Use a QuickBooks account that exists if the account you're importing transactions into is already set up in QuickBooks.
Create a new QuickBooks account if the account you're importing transactions into isn't in QuickBooks yet. Learn how to create an account
  4. Select Continue . A dialog window will appear, indicating that the data has been successfully read into QuickBooks. Choose OK.
  5. To review your transactions, go to the Bank Feeds Center.
