Buy now & saveThanks for notifying us of your concern, @jeff211. Let's work together to resolve your issue about importing the CSV file of your Chase bank transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
First, use the correct 3-column format when uploading your CSV file into QBSE, which includes the Date, Description, and Amount as the headers. Then, ensure you've chosen the correct columns in the mapping state. Otherwise, QBSE will be unable to read the data.
Please note that since not all banks create their CSV files similarly, you may need to make some additional changes to get your transactions in. Some things to look out for are currency symbols and commas, special characters in the bank description, and the date format.
For more details, please see this article: Common errors for importing bank transactions using CSV in QuickBooks Online.
If the issue persists, I recommend performing some browser troubleshooting steps. Please utilize these keyboard shortcuts:
Once resolved, return to your original browser to clear its cache or use another compatible one. It's more likely a temporary issue between QBSE and your current browser.
Furthermore, learn about the Schedule C categories in QBSE and how to categorize your transactions by reading this reference: Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Solopreneur and QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Please feel free to visit us again in the Community forum if you need further assistance with uploading your bank transactions. We'd be happy to help you. Take care, and have a good day.
You can use one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.
