I'm here to help sort things out for you. The reason that the transaction was blocked is because of the discrepancy in the Opening and ending balance.
Let's make sure that both deleted and reentered transactions have the same amount and date. Then, go to the register and manually mark the transaction as "R".
Here's how:
- In your QuickBooks, go to Accounting at the left navigation pane.
- Select the Chart of Accounts tab.
- Choose an account, then click View register under the Action column.
- Click the transaction, and mark it as R, then click Save.
