To begin with, could you kindly share exactly what you're attempting to upload? Are you working with Bank Transactions, Invoices, Journal Entries, or something else? Also, could you provide the exact error message you're encountering when trying to upload a CSV file? This way, I can provide an accurate resolution to your concerns.
If you’re referring to bank data, make sure to check that the date format is correct, there are no missing required columns, and that negative amounts are properly formatted. To make the mapping stage easier, you can do the following:
Delete columns you do not need from your CSV to avoid any confusion. The columns that are required by QuickBooks are:
Date
Description
Amount
Change the names of the columns in your CSV to match the titles in QuickBooks.
I'm sorry for being so vague and not home to give the specifics but my bank (Brex) isn't in the auto populated box to add. So I was trying to import the transaction data in a csv file. When I try to upload it by browsing for the file on my computer. It doesn't acknowledge it and just gives an error.
I'll be home in a little bit to give you the specific error message. Thank you for the reply.

Not a problem, @iqdagenius. We're always here and ready to assist you once you're available to share the exact error message you encounter. I’d like to share some additional details to ensure your file imports successfully into QuickBooks Online.
When importing a file into QuickBooks Online (QBO), it’s important to verify the file meets its formatting requirements to avoid any errors during the process. As QBO only accepts files in the proper format.
If your file is already in CSV format, kindly ensure it aligns with QBO's file formatting. You can follow these steps to import your file into QBO:
Navigate to the Gearicon, then select ImportDataunder the tools column.
In the record type dropdown, choose BankData.
Upload your CSV file.
Match your CSV columns to QBO fields (Date, Description, Amount)
Click Continueto review all the transactions before importing, then proceed to complete the import process.
