Does anyone know if there is an opt out for the new ACH/faster deposit fee that starts on April 12? My payments exceed $1,000 so this is a 2,000% increase from $.50 per

I just looked into FreshBooks. Their ACH fees are worse. 1% capped at $50!

Thank you for this. So you can connect Melio to QB and have clients pay ACH without a fee? It's a workaround?

I'm gonna use Melio now.

The most ironic: QB uses it too!

My platform recur360.com offers next day ACH funding at less than what intuit is offering.  We are also less on Credit Cards and our platform offers many other automations that you don't get in QBO or QB Desktop.  Come check us out, https://www.recur360.com.

@RECUR360

Thanks for your info. Unfortunately we have to pay $72/month to use your app and it excludes the processing fee to accept payment. Your app looks similar to Billcom.

Nope, can't opt out.  So I spent the day researching other options.  I'm not going to pay to get my money (that's why I don't take credit cards!)  I've decided to try out veem (www.veem.com).  No fees to have an account with veem, no fees for bank transfers, seems to be fairly smooth integration with QBO.  Once I set up my veem account and connected to QBO it pulled all my open invoices into veem.  I can now (if I choose) send a new payment link from veem for the open invoice.   NO FEES!  Veem has alot of other features that I currently don't need, some would have fees attached such as accepting credit card payment.

IMO not providing an opt out (rather it should have been an opt in to next day) QBO has really screwed up!

Do you know if you can set up automatic recurring ACH sales receipts with Veem?

Will definitely turn of ACH and have clients send checks if there is no way to opt out.

I've started using VEEM.  No fees, and clients have been receptive to the change.

Hello @Candice C

I am also too small a company to qualify for a rate discount. In reading about the new rates and tracking the fees I am being charged per customer ACH payment, I see a 1% fee/ $10 max per transaction is advertised, however,  the reality is that I am being charged over $10 per transaction when a payment is over $1,000. So, its this false advertising or am I missing something here? I would like to opt out of next day deposits, I was happy with the fee-free ACH transfers and will seek out an alternative.

Wondering if, a few months later, you're still using Veem? I'm looking into it and wondering what real user experiences with it have been.

I'm sick of the back and forth with customers who want to do ACH for free. Veem might be a good option ...
