I downloaded the .QBO file for the Discover Card account following these directions:
When I try to "open the Downloaded Transactions Window," QuickBooks link it to a different account. What am I doing wrong.

Let me show you an important step when importing a QBO file to QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
We need to select a QuickBooks Account when we import the file. This is to make sure that transactions will be linked to the right account.
You can follow these steps:
- Go to the File menu. Hover over Import and select From Web Connect.
- On the pop-up, locate the downloaded QBO file and click Open.
- From the Account Association window, select the account in QuickBooks under Store in the QuickBooks Account drop-down.
- Click Continue.
Once done, you'll see a message saying that it was successful.
