Thank you for your response. Actually, after posting customer payments, I’m trying to print a deposit slip for these checks without having to put a purchased deposit slip in the printer. This will allow me to save the deposit records on the computer. Hope this makes sense!
I'm here to provide some details about the deposit slip in QuickBooks Desktop, Keri.
I have some scenarios that I can think of when you said you want to print an itemized deposit slip without a purchased form. Generally, once you print a deposit slip, this will automatically save the file in your computer, and then print the form.
If you only want to save the form and don't want to print it, you can click on the Save button on the Make Deposits window.
But if you want to print the slip without a purchased form, you can use regular paper when printing it instead.
Furthermore, learn how you can create rules in QuickBooks to match your bank feeds transactions. I've added this article for more details: Create Rules To Categorize Transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.
You can always post your comment if you have any other concerns when making deposits. I'm always right here to help. Have a nice day!.
