I'll guide you through the troubleshooting steps to successfully reconnect your bank, Laura151.

Error 106 in QuickBooks Online (QBO) occurs when your account cannot be found on your bank's website, often due to account closure. If the account is not yet closed ,clear all transactions from the For Review tab to avoid duplicates, then disconnect and reconnect your bank account to re-establish the connection.

To disconnect your bank account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank Transactions. Click on the tile for the bank account.
  2. Select the Pencil icon and choose Edit account info.
  3. Check the box for Disconnect this account before saving.
Note: If QuickBooks is downloading transactions, you won't see this option right away. Please wait a few minutes for the update to complete and try again.
  4. Click Save and Close.

To reconnect the bank, go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then select Bank Transactions and Select Connect account or Link account
