Join nowI've come to share details about the connection between Brex and QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @istration-thejac. With this, you're able to manage your self-employed transactions accordingly.
When you connect your bank account (i.e., Brex) to QBSE, your recent transactions download automatically. However, once you've tried all the options to match your bank's name, and still you don't see it under the list of available connections, you'll have to request support for your financial institution. To do this, here's how:
For the time being, I'd recommend adding your transactions manually from a CSV file. This way, you can keep your account updated. Then, follow the steps in this article to complete the process: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Once you're done importing, you'll have to categorize your transactions from the Transactions menu. Doing so will put your self-employed transactions on the correct line of your Schedule C.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have other banking concerns and questions about managing self-employed transactions in QBSE. You can drop a comment below, and I'll gladly help. Take care always, @istration-thejac.
Explore SlickConnect as a workaround. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online/QBSE, so there is no specific setting needed.
