You can check the details on the sales receipts you're trying to match with the bank transactions to see if there are any discrepancies, Anita. Here are some insights to assist you with this matter.
QuickBooks will search for existing transactions that match bank deposits based on similar dates, amounts, and bank accounts. To better understand why you're having trouble recognizing the appropriate matches, you can refer to this article: Confirm suggested matches for bank transactions in QuickBooks.
If you've already verified that the information in your sales receipts matches your bank deposits, ensure that you set the correct filter in the Find other matches screen. Here's how to do it:
- Go to the Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
- In the For review tab, locate the deposit and select Find other matches.

- In the Find other matches screen, adjust the date range filter as needed.
If the receipts are not appearing, they may have already been matched to a different transaction. To check this, review your bank registers. A letter C will be displayed next to the transaction, indicating that it's already matched elsewhere. Simply click on the C until it's gone to uncategorize it.
When you find that the receipts did not match another transaction, I recommend contacting our Live Support team again for immediate assistance.
