How can I import transactions from an establishment that does not connect with quickbooks?

Hello there, @george-kunschman. I've got here some steps to help you import transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

You can manually import the transactions to QBSE. To do so, ensure that the file you're using is in CSV format. Once ready, below are the steps you can perform:

  1. In your QBSE account, navigate to the Profile icon and click the Import transactions button.
  2. Then, select the import transactions link.
  3. Select the Browse option to upload your CSV file.
  4. When done, click Import.

For reference, feel free to check this article: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Then, to ensure your transactions are allocated to the correct account use this article as a guide in categorizing them: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If you have any other concerns about importing transactions in QBSE, don't hesitate to post again here in the Community. Have a good one and stay safe.

Thank you for replying.

I followed your steps and once I enter the screen I have no option to import CSV I created.

I have attached a screenshot.

Hi, George. I appreciate you getting back to the thread and sharing a screenshot of your option when importing transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). I'm here to help you with the process so you can bring your entries successfully.

You're actually on the right page. From there, look for your bank, then click Import older transactions under Action. This way, you'll be able to choose the file you want to add. I'm adding these images as your visual reference.

To learn more about importing CSV files to QBSE, check out this article: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed

On the other hand, you may link your account to save you time from doing the manual entry or import. Here's how: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Feel free to mention my name in the comment section below if you have other banking concerns. I'm more than happy to help you again. Keep safe!
