Viewing the reports for QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) will generate data from the previous year. For now, we haven't added an option where allows the data to show from the dates that we have set up or selected.
Your suggestion is a great idea. I am sending this one to our software engineers now. They'll evaluate it and might be given a chance to be included as one of the options for the enhancement for the QBSE in the next product release.
