How can I start my QuickBooks online account with only my information on a thumb drive. I can't connect to the internet on my old system to upload it.

Do you have a QB Desktop file in your thumb drive?

Which QB Desktop year version did you use?

I have just my quickbooks backup data on a thumb drive and the program I was using was QuickBooks pro desktop 2015 but that computer won't connect to the internet anymore so I have a new subscription for QuickBooks online on a new computer I just need to take that thumb drive to get my data over to the computer that is online

You can use the trial version of QB Desktop 2019 and 2021 to upgrade your company file gradually and convert it to QB Online.
