To begin with, let's review your invoices for payments that match the deposit amount. This will help us identify the source of the payment. Then, you can verify this information with your customer.
To check your invoices, follow the steps below:
- In your QuickBooks Self-Employed account, select Invoices.
- You’ll see a list of your invoices.
- Click the invoices you want to review.
- From there, you can check the amount and the status (open, paid, overdue) to determine which customer is associated with the deposit.
