How can I upload a QBO file ?

Hello there, @tim-callteamclin.

While there isn't a direct way to transfer your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), you can export your bank transaction using a CSV file and manually import it into QBSE. Let me guide you on how.

First off, you'll have to export the transactions from your bank using a CSV file. Once done, you can now import it to your QBSE account. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Imports.
  3. Select an account and click on the Import older transactions link under Action.
  4. Follow the instructions onscreen to finish importing your data.
  5. Click Import.

Just in case you want to connect your bank to your QBSE account, feel free to check out this article for more details: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You can also utilize the third-party migration tools to convert your Online data to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Keep in touch if you need any more assistance with uploading files, or if there's something else I can do for you. I've got your back. Have a good day and keep safe.
