How do I cancel a reconciliation?

Yes, you can undo the reconciliation in QuickBooks Online (QBO), which will allow you to change the amounts and restart the reconciliation process, Marcia.

Before proceeding, I recommend consulting your accountant to ensure that all your records remain accurate.

Here's how to manually unreconcile your transactions:

1. In your QBO account, click the Gear icon at the top.
2. Select Chart of Accounts.
3. Locate and choose the account you’re working on, and click on View Register.
   
   
4. Select the transactions you want to unreconcile.
5. Keep on clicking the R status until it shows blank or cleared (C).
6. Click on Save.
